I’ve never seen a bear in a gym, but they are faster and stronger than any of us.  They must be doing their DOWs.  If you need some motivation to run faster on your sprints, imagine this guy in the picture below chasing after you.

GRIN AND BEAR IT

Needed: Track, trail, open field

Warm-up: 5-10 minute jog

Then:

10m sprint, 1 Burpee, 2 Push-ups, 3 Squat Jumps, 4 Sit-ups

Walk or light jog back to the start

20m sprint, 2 Burpees, 3 Push-ups, 4 Squat Jumps, 5 Sit-ups

Walk or light jog back to the start

30m sprint, 3 Burpees, 4 Push-ups, 5 Squat Jumps, 6 Sit-ups

Walk or light jog back to the start

Continue adding 10m and 1 rep to each exercise until you finish with:

100m sprint, 10 Burpees, 11 Push-ups, 12 Squat Jumps, 13 Sit-ups

Walk or light jog back to the start

If you finish all 10 sets and it was too easy, head back to 90m, 80m, etc until you finish with the 10m set again.
