Scott Jones has a ridiculous passion of getting people outside. After co founding Lifes2Short Events and starting Athlete On Fire and Becoming Ultra with the goal of inspiring and empowering athletes of all kinds to get out and get after it, Daily Outdoor Workouts just made sense. It is the love child conceived no less than 8 years ago, only now, we know how to build websites! Scott specializes in running and sport specific training for his workouts.
Jeremy Grev has always been an outdoor enthusiast. Growing up in MN he was always outside exploring, fishing, running, biking, skiing, etc. Having played many sports and always challenging himself with other physical endeavors, two degrees in exercise physiology helped him understand how the body works and how to make it work better. His love for adventure and the outdoors eventually led him to nature’s playground, known to others simply as Colorado. When he isn’t outside playing, he can be found in a puddle of tears, as we all imagine anyone would be without fresh air and sweat. Jeremy is our DOW mastermind and creates most of the amazing DOWs you love, specializing in Winter sports and mountain sports conditioning.
Lauren Jones grew up in the rocky mountains of Colorado and is a trail runner, playground workout fanatic, wanna-be ski bum, elite Obstacle course racer and mom of 2 crazy boys. She has her degree in exercise science, is certified in pilates and is co-founder of Life’s 2 Short events and the founder of Running with Kids (resources for active parents) and SOMbands (inspirational apparel). Lauren’s workouts will focus on Playground, pi-yo inspired and obstacle race training workouts.
Ryan Atkins is a world class professional athlete. After spending much of his youth competing in unicycle trial competitions (yes, it’s crazy) and cycling, he has recently been dominating the Obstacle Course Racing scene. He is a two time World’s Toughest Mudder champion, a Battle Frog and Ice Bug sponsored athlete and he literally can’t stay off the podium. You can rest assured he is going to bring a new perspective to your outdoor training. Oh, and he is our sole Canadian rep, we love the Canadian Rockies so much we had to have someone from our awesome northernly neighbor! Coach Tony Middleton is the owner and head coach for Unlimited Potential Fitness, an organization that he created to help people unlock their unlimited potential through fitness coaching, personal training, and obstacle course racing. His passion for fitness started 8 years ago when he discovered the burgeoning sport of Parkour and blossomed a few years later when he started obstacle racing. Now he teaches OCR bootcamps five times a week in Thornton and Boulder and is a team captain and facebook editor for Colorado Obstacle Racers, the largest obstacle racing club in the state. In 2013 he was selected to be an OCRgear.com Brand Ambassador and in 2014 he became a Men’s Health Urbanathalon Training Ambassador. Although he is the father of two and holds down a day job doing software engineering, he still makes time to train athletes and compete in obstacle races. In fact, he placed first in age group at the Colorado Spartan Sprint this year and is ranked in the top 15 for age group nationally. Coach Tony has completed four coaching certifications:
